1 x Ribes sanguineum 'King Edward VII' sent in a 1 Litre plant pot (approx) 6-8 inches in height. Ribes sanguineum 'King Edward VII' is an upright deciduous shrub, with aromatic leaves and deep red flowers in drooping racemes in spring, followed by white-bloomed, black berries. It reaches an ultimate height of 1.5-2.5 metres and an ultimate spread of 1-1.5 metres. But it can be pruned each year after flowering, to keep a small and compact form. This specimen is often referred to as a flowering red currant or a winter currant. The 'King Edward VII' is a simple and easy to grow shrub because it is happy in most soil situations.
It should be noted that this particular plant is a deciduous specimen, and therefore will shed its leaves in the autumn.
