1x Pleioblastus variegatus (v) whitestripe, (approx) 6-8 inches in height, and sent in a 2 Litre plant pot. P. variegatus is a low, tufted bamboo forming a slow-spreading colony, that grows up to 0.5-1 metres in height. Slender, pale green canes bearing narrow leaves to 20cm long, striped with creamy-white, are evergreen. This evergreen bamboo is hardy through most of the UK (-10°C to -5°C). This variegated bamboo has an ultimate spread of 1-1.5 metres, making it ideal for ground cover. Excellent for tropical planting; as it creates an instant tropical effect. It can also be grown in a container. This bamboo has a AGM award, from the Royal Horticultural Society. Which means that it is considered to be an exceptional specimen.
