1x Fuchsia magellanica var. molinae (approx) 6-8 inches in height and sent in a 1 litre plant pot. Fuchsia magellanica var. molinae is an elegant upright deciduous shrub with small, lance-shaped leaves and slender flowers with very pale pink, almost white tube and sepals, and pale pink petals. Masses of these delicate flowers appear in summer and autumn. 'Magellanica var. molinae' is commonly referred to as 'maiden's blush' due to the graceful flowers that it produces. It is attractive to bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. This shrub has an ultimate height of 1.5-2.5 metres, and an ultimate spread of 1-1.5 metres. This flowering shrub is deciduous, and will therefore lose its leaves in the autumn or when the first frosts appear. This fuchsia is hardy through most of the UK, as it can withstand temperatures of -5°C to -10°C.
